Words cannot describe the immense pleasure I had in creating Laura and Mike's wedding floral displays. For me, Notley Abbey is such an idyllic venue and I was so happy to be the chosen florist to work with Laura and Mike in creating their stunning displays.
Laura and Mike wanted a very natural, elegant and romantic style of florals throughout their wedding day. I created stunningly elegant textured bouquets for Laura and her four bridesmaids. Peony, scented O'Hara roses, bombastic petit roses, apricot stocks, Lovelace roses, sweet peas, astilbe, beautifully laid with English herbs, vine and ferns.
With use of my 110cm hollow stands, we created a warm ambience within The Monks Refectory. Trailing flowers and foliages surrounded by candle light at the base. The Pedestals from the outdoor ceremony were then transported securely and placed either side of the Bride and Groom. The ultimate display was the suspended floral waterfall I created as a back drop to their top table. Totally mesmerising and captured so beautiful by their amazing photographer Natalie of N J Weddings.
I really hope you love the images just as must as I do. I can picture the day like it was yesterday and the feedback I had was incredible. Anyone who holds their wedding day here will be delivered a truly memorable day. The venue is just crying out for flowers and candlelight and it was a privilege for me to make it happen. Im back at the venue a couple of times thus far in 2018 and cannot wait to get my hands dirty ! Enjoy xx
